Welcome to Grand Case Beach Rentals. These Terms & Conditions apply to direct bookings made through our website, by email, WhatsApp, or any other direct communication channel. By making a direct booking, submitting payment, or staying at one of our properties, you agree to these Terms, our house rules, our Cancellation Policy, and our Privacy Policy.
Direct Bookings
A direct booking is confirmed only after the selected dates are available, guest details are submitted accurately, the guest accepts the house rules and cancellation policy, payment succeeds, and written confirmation is issued by Grand Case Beach Rentals.
Prices, Fees, and Taxes
Prices shown on the website are quoted in USD unless stated otherwise. Taxes, where applicable, are included in the prices shown rather than added as a separate line item. The final direct booking total may include the nightly rate, cleaning fee, and any optional or agreed additional services. Direct booking prices may differ from prices shown on Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, or other platforms.
Payment
Direct booking payments are processed securely through Stripe Checkout. Grand Case Beach Rentals does not store full credit card details. If payment is not completed within the payment window shown, the dates may be released.
Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in and check-out details are provided before arrival. Guests must follow the arrival instructions and return the property in reasonable condition. Late check-out is not guaranteed unless agreed in writing.
Guest Responsibilities
Guests agree to use the property respectfully and legally, follow the house rules, respect neighbors and shared residence areas, keep noise reasonable, report issues promptly, avoid exceeding the stated guest capacity, and not host parties, events, pets, or unauthorized visitors without written approval.
Damage and Excess Cleaning
Guests are responsible for damage caused during their stay beyond normal wear and tear. We may request reimbursement for property damage, missing items, excess cleaning, smoke or odor remediation, lost keys or access devices, unauthorized guests, parties, or pets.
Beach, Parking, and Shared Areas
Beach access, loungers, residence amenities, and parking may be shared or subject to availability. Parking spaces, where available, are generally first-come, first-served unless otherwise stated. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of shared amenities, beach conditions, public access routes, or third-party services.
Travel, Weather, and Force Majeure
Grand Case Beach Rentals is not responsible for travel disruptions, flight cancellations, illness, weather, storms, government restrictions, utility outages, beach conditions, or events outside our reasonable control. Guests are encouraged to purchase travel insurance.
Property Descriptions and Photos
We aim to keep descriptions, photos, amenities, prices, and availability accurate. Minor differences may occur due to maintenance, upgrades, decor changes, weather, or normal property wear. If an essential amenity becomes unavailable, we will make reasonable efforts to fix the issue or offer a practical solution.
Liability
Guests stay at the property at their own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grand Case Beach Rentals is not liable for personal injury, lost belongings, travel disruption, beach or ocean-related incidents, third-party services, or events outside our control. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.
Platform Bookings
Bookings made through Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, or another platform are governed by the platform's terms, payment rules, cancellation rules, and dispute process. These direct booking Terms apply only to bookings made directly with Grand Case Beach Rentals.
Governing Law
These Terms are intended to be governed by the applicable laws and regulations of Saint Martin / the French side of Saint Martin, unless otherwise required by law.
Cancellation Policy
For direct bookings, our standard policy is: Full refund up to 14 days before check-in, 50% refund from 7 to 13 days before check-in, and no nightly refund inside 7 days. Read the full cancellation policy.
